This specialized Pharmacy Program prepares Graduate Professional Pharmacists who achieve expertise in Drug Therapy.

The program starts building a solid foundational knowledge base of the graduates in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. From the initial phase, our students quickly and smoothly move into the pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy phase of the program.

Our professional skills labs offer an opportunity for clinical simulations and role play preparing our students for an early exposure into the “Real Practice Environment”.

The Pharmacy Program offers our students pharmacy practice experiences in hospitals, clinics and community pharmacies. These diverse experiences in such healthcare practice environments facilitate our students with the required pharmacy practice skills to become professional pharmacy practitioners around the globe.

Pharmacy Program Learning Outcomes

The Pharmacy Program focuses on the achievement of Program Learning Outcomes (PLO’s) designed to graduate competent and socially responsible and accountable pharmacy professionals. The PLO’s are aligned with and characterized to knowledge, skill, and pharmacist competency domains as per international standards of American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP)leading to pursue Master of Clinical Pharmacy (MCP)Programs.

The CUB curriculum equip and prepares the students with a balanced learning of general education, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and clinical sciences. Integration of these sciences using didactic and experimental education with patient-focused, student-centered approaches provides progressive achievement of PLO’s

Methods utilized to facilitate student learning include lecture, case studies, simulation, written assignments, presentations, and formative, summative and clinical examinations. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, graduates are prepared to be responsible professionals and lifelong learners.

The program focuses on the scholarly activities and advancement of professional roles. Community engagement activities and inter-professional education prepare students towards socially and professionally. The dynamic curriculum is upgraded and adjusted to improve effectiveness with feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders.

B Pharm Graduation Requirements

Specific Completion Requirements of the B Pharm Program includes:

  • Completion of 163 credits (B Pharm).
  • A minimum CGPA of 2.0.
  • A minimum pass mark of 60%.
  • A minimum attendance of 75%.
